Growing Our Garden

 Last year I started our first vegetable garden. I enjoyed it so much I decided I needed a bigger one.

 You can't really tell from the picture but after the kids and I dug out the grass we about doubled the size of what we had last year. I put in new soil and we're ready to plant!

Thanks to Lani and Cameron I have peas, carrots and some yellow zucchini in the ground. In May we'll plant some tomatoes, potatoes, watermelon and raspberries. I'm getting excited about our new plants, I sure hope they grow.

In the front yard, while digging up weeds I found new buds I didn't think would come back. I'm super excited about that. I can't remember what the flower was called but it was beautiful. We added more dirt, now we just need some flowers and we're ready for spring!
