A Little Complaining

So, I'm totally on my pity pot. If you would like to hear my sob fest, keep reading otherwise, you've been warned.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow. I've told everyone all about it because I'm so excited for all we have planned. It really is going to be great. My Uncle and Sister came into town for the celebration. My sister in law, Teresa has done an amazing job on some secret gifts we have in store. It's going to be beautiful! My kids are even excited, they have a major part in the nights plans.

Then, Saturday I am taking off to Texas for a few days to play, I mean work. I get to help a friend paint her house, eat yummy food and be kid free for almost 5 days!

We finally got everything in order for my moms party and the building coordinator at her ward house called to say there would be a funeral and we are being kicked out. No big deal, right? Except that I've been planning this for over a year and I wanted everything to be just right. This put a slight glitch in the plans. Oh well, we found another building and it will be fine. THEN, we found out that we actually CAN have the party at her ward house, the funeral plans changed. What a waste of fretting. Poor Teresa already made a cute handout with a map and everything for the new place. So party back on and all is right again.

*Grossness ahead
Nope, Lexi started puking tonight. It has been going around and I guess it's our turn. Could it be worse timing? I know, it can be. But really, couldn't it have started earlier in the week or after I got back from Texas? Cause you know it's going to hit the others anytime now. And it's not the kind where puke and your done. Nope, she's filled the bowl, I'm not even kidding, probably fifteen times in 3 hours. Then Patch started burping. Not just a burp, but the kind where you know some thing's brewing. Sorry, too much information there. He's a volcano just waiting to erupt, I know it!

Poor girl. Poor boy. Poor me. Please pray that it skips the rest and we get to enjoy the weekend we've all been so anxiously waiting for. I think I'll try using "The Secret" and put it out there that we will all be fine.

My advice to you is ~Stay away~!

I'm sorry about Patch and Alexa. I think between our two boys they threw up over 30 times! The party will go well and it will be over soon. :)

I am soooo sorry! Life is like that, and sometimes I think you know who does it just for laughs. :) I like to think that he has a sense of humor and that someday I will too. Best luck and have fun painting!
