What a fun night we had!
We blew up around 100 balloons and put pictures of my mom's life at the end of each string (thanks Leslie for all your help and time decorating and cleaning, and Joy for the idea). Teresa made the beautiful Happy Birthday banner for my mom and she decorated each table with hobbies or things my mom enjoys for the center pieces.
Friends from all times in her life came. It was neat to see people from the past and catch up.
Everyone seemed to have a good time. The kids sang a song we made up to the tune of "This Land Is Your Land" (Thanks Taylor cousins for the idea).Happy Birthday mom!

Looks like a great party. My dad turns 60 next week, and I'm so glad that he's not into the big party thing. We're still celebrating, but just extended family. Lots of work!
