Celebrating Caely!

Saturday was Caely's birthday, she woke up to the house decorated for her. Thankfully she was feeling well enough to celebrate.





We had a whole busy day planned for her. First we opened presents. Tyler and Lexi have MP3 players and Caely has been waiting for hers. She also got some earrings in anticipation of her piercing later in the day!

We picked up Grandma Leslie and head out to the Distribution Center to let her pick some scriptures as a present from her Grandma.
She is very excited to have her very own, like Tyler! Then we headed to 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. Can I just say, it was YUMMY! We loved it.








Caely was so sweet, Alexa really wanted to go with us, so she asked Caely if she could come and Caely actually said yes. It was a true girls day.








Caely started getting really nervous as we walked through the mall, looking for Claire's. I almost told her she didn't have to get her ears pierced, but I knew she was wanting to and she kept waking up all night so excited to go. Well, it was finally time. Here she is before and after. She said it hurt, but she didn't even cry once!

Sunday we had my mom and Jimmy's family over for dinner. Then the Roberts and Grandma Leslie and Grandpa Greg came for cake and ice cream.







Time flies! It was just 8 short years ago this sweet girl came into our family.

Caely has been such a blessing to us. She is so thoughtful and helpful. She cares so much about everyone, and can make friends where ever she goes. She is a snuggler, she's so smart, I love that she takes care of everyone around her.
