I just love St. Patrick's Day! It's my favorite holiday. Why, you ask since I'm not Irish and I don't drink? Wish I had an answer, but the only thing I can figure is that it's in my birthday month, and since I don't love my birthday I can celebrate with out being celebrated. Make sense?
I also love having the Leprechaun come and leave gold or play little tricks on the kids. The Irish poems or prayers can be beautiful and uplifting. I also love that there is no expectation for gifts. I love pinching my kids. There are lots of great reasons to love St. Patrick's Day. It's a great holiday!

My sister has the Leprechaun come to her house too. I tried it with my kids when they were little and scared them to death. Mom of the year moment!
