Yesterday Alexa got to go on a field trip with her class to Macey's grocery store. They walked them around telling them how they place items on sale, showed them the produce, the fridge and the freezer. They all watched how a rose of frosting is made for the cakes and then they got to sample one on a cookie.
After, we did a little grocery shopping ourselves. At Macey's they have mini grocery carts at customer service, so the girls ran around the store with me getting a few things. We of course couldn't leave with out doughnuts! They loved it.

What a great field trip. We went to Smiths once when Madie was little. A great memory!
