We haven't had a relaxing weekend in a very long time. In fact I can't remember the last time we could just chill and be with each other. Friday day I made the kids do their Saturday chores so we could be free on Saturday to watch morning cartoons (sounds pathetic, but fun memories for me). Friday night I got to go on a date with Chris. We met up with my brother Jimmy and his wife Teresa for dinner and desert. Chris had a hockey game later that night. He usually has them on Saturdays, but we just lucked out. Tyler and Caely had a game on Saturday both at the same time so it took very little of our day away. We rearranged furniture and decided to just hang out together. Now that we have 9am church, we got up early and we were done by noon, just to have a lazy Sunday ahead of us. I don't think the couch has ever seen so much of me, and I loved it!

I love those days and I have to say some of our best memories happen on Sat morning with cartoons!! Cool, cool weekend..

Then there is me, I am so tired of couch sitting, and there is NO end in site! We just learned last night Burke has RSV :(
