My friend Tiffany sent me to a YouTube video, "Life is like running a marathon". It's 8 minutes long. I finally bit the bullet and watched it and I'm so thankful I did.
I'm sure I've mentioned this many times before but one of my goals before my birthday is to read The Book of Mormon. I don't think I've read it from front to back, all the way through, since I was 15. Sad. I am learning so much and feeling so empowered. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life and I'm grateful to those who've gone before me to pave the way. We can learn so much from history.
This video likens our lives to running a marathon. I wonder for those who don't run if they would get as much out of it. For me it was profound. I bawled. I really needed to see this at a time in my life when I'm searching for strength.
I've been thinking a lot about how I can bring this understanding of the scripture to my family so my children can feel the way I do about our Savior and our Heavenly Father. It's hard to give someone the passion you do and it's hard to have to watch them learn on their own. It's also hard to remember everything that touches my heart. I'm so excited to finish (150 more pages) so I can restart and learn all that I've missed.

I love this. One of my very most favorite things I've done was the challenge to read the BoM 3 times in 3 months each time with a different focus. It was amazing.
I think as far as sharing with your family - that by living your life yearning to be closer to the spirit, you will be able to know how and when to share those important messages with them.
I'm glad you are finding bits of strength here and there as you face some of the challenges in your life.
Loves!
