Our Stake put on a 5K & 1 mile run. The kids were so excited that they were finally going to get to do a race!
Chris, Patch, Alexa and I did the 1 miler and Shauna took Caely for me. My cold this week has made it so I shouldn't/couldn't run.
Patch and Alexa did great! They ran mostly the whole time. The beginning was uphill and they kept truckin' along.
I finished with Alexa at 12:59 and we went to meet the boys and run in with them at 14:45
Caely did awesome! I am so proud of her. She hasn't really run a longer distance since her 4 miler back in July. They finished in around 32 or 33 minutes (I forgot to get the time).
Such a fun time. I'm looking forward to the 3rd Annual Park Village Turkey Trot this year with my kids!

This is the BEST way to get everyone outside and enjoying fresh air and exercise! Good job everyone! You all still look pretty happy so that must mean IT was a lot of fun!
