Scout Camp

I can't believe it's been a month since Tyler's been to camp.

He ended up having a great time. He said the classes were boring, but the kids are fun to hang out with.

It rained on them, and one night the weather was so bad it broke their tent poles so they had to run for cover to the leaders lounge and sleep there.

He loved spending his money on the junk at the trading post. He got HUGE mosquito bites that itched for a week. He saw snakes and said that the troop leaders ate them. He swam in a freezing lake. He came back a little taller and a little older. At least that's how it seemed to me.

I'm so glad he had this experience. I'm glad I had this experience too.
