Yesterday I check Tyler out and took him to Oquirrh Middle School where his 6th grade team competed. From what I hear, all the kids who participated are really enjoying this program. I sadly couldn't stay to watch, so I dropped him and left.
They didn't win...this time, but I'm looking forward to the next session and hope he continues to be on the debate team in junior high.

Wow, you really want to parent a debater? :) I have a hard enough time arguing with my kids when they aren't learning the fine art of debate.
Good for T though, to try a new skill!
That is something new in elementary! Such an awesome activity.
