All That JAZZ
Last night Caely and I went to the final Jazz game of the season. We had tickets from her Jr. Jazz team, so we called Aunt Suzanne to see if she would be there to hang out with. We were in luck!
She took us behind the scenes to her office, doesn't it look like the girls belong on this wall of players!
We got there super early so we could have some dinner and watch the players warm up.
These guys are HUGE! I can't believe how tall they are.
It was an awesome game. It started out pretty quiet with the score close the whole game. I think the Jazz was ahead by 10 at one point, but Denver quickly caught up. The last few minutes of the game were the most exciting. It was SO close! but the Jazz pulled a head to win 107-103 (I think).
For the half time show, the ushers kicked the Jazz girls off the court and danced for us. It was hilarious! They have a long time serving usher there who's now in a wheelchair and I think Suzy said he's 95. They rolled him out to join the group and he even got up and shook his booty!!
With a little (I use the term loosely) ice cream to complete a perfect night, Caely and I had one of the funnest nights ever.
After the game we had to run to the car in the pouring rain. We were drenched, but it completed the fun memory of a great night.
