After the movie my mom took me to the mall, ZCMI I believe, to buy my first bra. If you remember, there is a song in the movie all about bra's. My mom and sister thought it was so funny to sing this to me while we looked.
Today while Caely and I got ready, we decided we looked too good to just go sit on the couch and watch a movie, we headed to Target to look for new jammies. While we were there we did a little window shopping, looked at board games and silly bands, wii's and iPods.
On our way out, with the convenience of a super store that carries everything, we stopped and bought Caely her first bra. There was no singing or teasing, just the admittance that it was time she joined the bra-wearing crowd. I don't know that I'm ready for this!

I'm sure she's going to be thrilled you posted about this. It's a strange thing to begin this phase. (btw, Meg is STILL wearing the trainer/sports bra that we bought her around this age... :))
oooooohhhhhh....WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GROW UP?!?!!? I mean I'm glad they are out of diapers, but I'm sooooooo not ready for any of the big girl stuff!!!!
And I thought sending my kiddo to Kindergarten was hard. How am I ever going to buy Clara or Meaghann a bra!! Beaches is my all time favorite movie!! I love that show! I think we need to get together and watch it.
It's hard to believe it's so fast! Kamry has been wearing a sports bra type and has been asking for a little training type.. not ready to go there as I pretend the sports bra is a tank top!
So in denial, I am.
