Freezing Gorillas and Pomegranates

Last night Chris' parents came over for dinner and family home evening.
My kids took every opportunity to grab their attention and show them there new talents.
Patch read a book to Grandma Leslie, while Lexi, Caely and Tyler all played a piece of their piano music.
At cheer today, Alexa learned to freeze dance, so that's what we played at FHE.
Grandpa Greg taught us a new game. You all sit in a circle and give yourself an animal name. The person who's "it" sits in the middle, calls out the name and tries to hit you on the head w/ a newspaper before you can say a different animals name that is still sitting in the circle.
After a bit, we changed to fruit to mix things up a bit.
After we had root beer floats and bed time. I love nights like these!

Way fun FHE! Although Chris' face doesn't look like he's totally into the game. ;)

I need to be better about FHE. Mondays always just get so crazy! Yeah, I know. Excuses. :)

LOVE, LoVe, LOVE the new family picture! How fun! Our new favorite FHE activity is pictionary using gospel topics like faith, love, etc.

We love that game! We've played it at a Halloween party before. It's super-fun with bigger groups of people!
