AF Halloween 5K

My friend, Emily invited a bunch of friends to run in the American Fork fun run on Saturday night. We met at her house and car pooled down to the start of the race.

When we got there and picked up our bibs, we had plenty of time to kill so we face painted each other and put on our glow sticks.

My running buddy, Connie and I are waiting for our turn to be decorated with face paint.

All dressed up and ready to run!
Mark was the brave hubby who dared run with a bunch of crazy fun women! I don't think he minded.
My first and only official running 5K was two years ago, when I was really sick with a nasty cold, so I was really looking forward to this one. I ended up getting 3rd place in my age/gender division, which I should clarify was not too hard seeing as there were only 260ish participants all together. I was pretty pleased though, since I didn't even try to run my fastest. All ready I'm planning on running it next year!

Aren't you so glad you picked up running? Look at how many cool events you've been to and all the neat friends?

And look at those fabulous skinny running legs! I'm jealous!

Great job on 3rd. I love the socks.

The socks only accentuate your hot legs!
