Newest "Mile"stone

Today I went for my longest run ever! It's crazy to me to think that people, I don't know what people, but there are people who do this for fun.

Okay, it was fun. In fact it was the best run I've ever had. It was easier than my first 10 miles. It was easier than my first 1/2 marathon. I won't kid you, there were times that were hard and I did hit a wall around mile 16 but Shauna helped me or pushed me over, that's still up for debate.

We ran 18 miles. To put that in perspective, that's like running from the Draper Temple to the Oquirrh Mt. Temple then back tracking to the Jordan River Temple and even after all that, adding 2 more miles. We didn't run this route FYI, but we did run to the Oquirrh Mt Temple and it was beautiful!

Training for a marathon is so accomplishing to me. I love that I'm trying something I've never done before. I love what I'm doing. I know it's an insane amount of running, believe me, I too think I'm crazy, but I'm lovin' it!

You totally inspire ~ not to run, but to do something I've always wanted to do and succeed!

Hooray for you and that exhilarating run! In Chachi's words, you are "TOTALLY AWESOME!"

WOAH! That is totally awesome! And, reading about someone running 18 miles sounds crazy, but even crazier to think of running to and from all those temples. YOU ROCK!
