I've just had the most wonderful week after having a few hard ones. I wish I could say that Chris getting a job was one of the things that made it great, but we're not there yet. I'll keep you posted.
I realize it's almost 2am, and I hope I can remember all the great things that happened, but there are no promises this late in the night.
Monday I got to run with Shauna. Oh, how I've missed that. I was good and hard all at the same time. It helped me remember how far I've come in just one year, and how glad I am that I've kept running. It was also nice to visit with a good friend who challenges me and helps me believe in myself.
Tuesday was very busy as usual, but it was also Enrichment or Relief Society Meeting. There are so many talented women in our ward, I'm glad to know them and especially glad to be neighbors with them.
I also got to go to a late girls night. It's amazing how GNO can rejuvenate you! And to my dear Sandy friends, I missed you this week (I'll get to that later) but I am so thankful we still religiously keep our night and that our friendship is still so strong after all this time.
Wednesday I was supposed to take Caely to the JAZZ game. Let's just say plans changed...for the better! Liz and John made a surprise visit to Utah to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with me. They invited a few people over for dinner and we played King Pong on the ping pong table. It was an unforgettable night.
Thursday we made sugar cookies and Jill, Liz and I did some craft work shopping. I'm going to be redoing my china hutch so I got the paint and things for that. It was a very committing experience, but I'm so excited to start this project. Pictures to come. I also got an Easter decor project to do for fun.
Today, Friday we took the kids to Classic Skating for the afternoon, so of course they had a fun day. We then had to say good-bye to the Mayo's. Quite the downer after such a great week, but I'm so glad they came.
Tyler had a hockey game late this afternoon. They lost but it was a very exciting game and he seemed to play well with his broken finger. Hopefully he'll be feeling good in the morning for the next two games he has.
Tonight I also got to go to a Twilight, New Moon party. A bunch of crazy, fun women and their love for a werewolf or a vampire. It was a blast! I wish I could tell you all the wonderful things about it, but I couldn't do it justice. The decorations were fabulous, the food was so creative and yummy. There were games and goody bags. We stood in line for an hour at WalMart waiting for the movie to be released. It was great!
I'm telling you, this has been the greatest week! Thank you to all who change my life, challenge me, love me, help me and teach me. I have the greatest friends and best of all, a loving husband who supports and encourages me in this crazy life of ours. I'll take a week like this any time!

I am so glad you had a great week, you deserve it! You have been on my mind a lot lately, I would love to find Chris a job and have you move up here to be my neighbor, Allan reminded me that we are acquainted with a (very well to do) accountant and I am going to e-mail him and see if he knows anything!
p.s. I think am going to start training for a half marathon in Pocatello. There is a great group of girls that I have enjoyed running with for a few years now in between having 2 kids. I am not quite ready to commit to a full yet since Brayden is still so small.
It totally sounds like a great week! We missed you and we'll catch you next month or during a lunch! You sound so upbeat and I'm glad that a great week was in order for you!!!
I'm glad you had such a great week! I'm thinking maybe we can do the short run earlier Wed. morning. I'll talk to you.
