Why is it...
...when your child makes a mess and you clean it up, do they cry because you touched their stuff?
...when you want to lose weight you can't stop eating, and even though you are making healthier choices every bite you take you can feel the pounds pack on?
...just when you think your kid is doing better, he takes two steps back?
...you have to fill out 20-40 minutes worth of resume stuff on websites that ask you the same thing that's on the freaking resume?
...you're kids need new clothes when it's most inconvenient?
...you get injured when you most need to be fit?
...when you feel like crap and you yell at your kids, you just feel like more crap?
...some days are harder than others?

Sigh. I'm sorry.
Cuz we're grownups now. woohoo.
seriously - i feel your pain. I cried at a scout meeting last night from feeling totally overwhelmed.
I have to keep reminding myself, "I WANTED this...(hubby, kids, adulthood)" What was I thinking? :)
amen Karen....all I can say is Girls Night can't come soon enough...'cept I will be at work...so how about girls day?!!? I'm free until 3:00ish...how bout it?
Why is it...
When we share what really happened, it's complaining when it's actually just the truth?
When everything goes wrong on a crappy day, it's our fault when really it was just a crappy day?
That you you can make me smile even when you're having a bad day?
Love you Em... Hope you have an un-crappy day tomorrow!
And Karen... I missed that night cause I was feeling that on that night!!!
And Cindy - yes! I'm in!!!
Emily, when I was at your stage in parenting I had a "mommy crisis." I regret to say that I went in and out of it for a couple o years, and then somehow emerged into new insights about myself and my children and my role in their lives. All I can say is to hang in there and ask the Lord daily to lead you where he's taking you, and I promise your journey will be worth it!
