Patch and his Legos

We've had a lazy day today. Tyler has had a fever for a couple days, and Patch has a runny nose, so we skipped church and hung out at home.

Is it too early to ask if my kids can go back on track?

Really, they haven't been bad, but I'm getting an early glimpse of the boredom than lies ahead.

We pulled out Patch's new Lego's and had a building party.

I sorted all the colors, Lexi played nurse and handed the next needed part to me, Chris instructed Patch on were to place them and how to follow the directions, and Patch built the objects.

He was so proud. Every time he finished something he'd say, "I did it! All by myself!"

He did a great job, and now I can enjoy him playing with his new creation while I steal away a few minutes of me time.

So fun! Yes, all by himself (with just a little help from his family) is the best! Love it.

LEGOS! The bringers of peace and quiet for an undisclosed amount of time each sitting. Gotta love the legos!

Totally love that I see instructions. That's what makes me scared of getting Legos because I wouldn't know how to build up what I'm suppose to!
