Finding Motivation

I've been feeling pretty good about the things I've accomplished this past year with my running and weight loss. October hit and I've felt completely unmotivated. I love running but the weather has not been ideal so I've been sleeping in A LOT and making excuses not to do anything.

I'm now ready to refocus and work on what I set my goals to be. I have 8lbs. that I would like to finish losing, and I would like to keep my running up to 50+ miles a week. My new goal is to have those lbs. be gone by Patch's 4th birthday (January 17th). I'll keep you posted, at least monthly, but probably more since that helps keep me motivated.

No more excuses! I can do this! It's holiday time, and I don't want to get caught up in over eating and not taking care of myself. Now is the time to start planning and preparing.

I still am so thankful to Tiffany for starting me on making goals and Shauna for getting me through this year of training. I never thought I would be on this personal level where I am.

Today I went to work out at the church with Jill, I feel awesome! What a great way to start on the right track!

You are amazing! I'm so proud of you and what you've accomplished. You are an awesome running partner and friend. Thanks for keeping me company on so many runs.

Umm, also, I HIGHLY doubt that you have 8 pounds to lose. Where will they come from? Your hair?

Thanks for the workout this morning and lunch today. You are amazing.

You are so amazing and sooo motivational. You are such a great friend and example of setting goals. Please pass some energy on to me. But seriously, 50 miles a week?!? You will never get there with only running 3 miles with me. you may need to drop me as a running parter.
