It's Monday, and like I promised here is my update. I think over all I did great. I ran all but two days last week (Sunday doesn't count). I watched what I ate and I'm still motivated. I must say I don't think I've been so hungry for so long. I am not depriving myself, just eating less, and I'm hungry. It won't last, right?
As I thought about last week, I realized how blessed I am to have such supportive friends. Here is the part where you stop reading unless you are looking for your name :). I'm sure many of you don't realize the influence you have had over me. I look up to many of my friends and I just want to say thanks. I'm sure I can't hit everyone, but know you are thought of.
This is me on my podium excepting my met challenge award:
Thank you to Heather, Christy, Emily and Jennilynn for getting me started by killing me rollerblading. Thank you to Heather for getting me bike riding and giving me a new hobby and passion (if you can call it that). Thank you to Christy for kicking my butt and making me run my first 3 miles EVER. Thank you to Shauna, Jen, and all the others who have invited me running even though I won't because I'm too insecure in my running skills. Thank you to my girls night ladies, Karen, Angela and Cindy, who motivate me and cheer me on. You are the best dang friends ever! Thanks again to Karen for teaching me baby steps, it's REALLY helped. Thank you to Connie for getting me to go running and Liz P. and Heidi A. for not laughing at me. That was the best 4 miles I've ever run! And most of all, thanks to Tiffany for getting me started and putting this challenge out there. I never thought I needed a cheering section, but I guess I do. WE CAN DO THIS! I bet you all didn't realize the difference you were making in my life. If you could see my heart it is full of gratitude for you, my friends.
I now believe in myself and I have the friends to get me there. It's only till January right???

Good job Emily. Keep on keeping on. You're body will thank you. By the way, you don't have to be hungry. I eat every two-three hours. If you ate the same amount of calories and just split them up into more meals you will loose weight. I have a very good paper on it from my trainer if you need some pointers. GO EMILY GO!!
Excellent work, Em! Keep it up! You are doing great.
Hope to see you Wed!
