I just thought I'd be funny since I'm not really feeling very motivating at this point. (Here's my sob fest) You would think after 10 miles last Saturday and 16 miles for all of last week my scale would give me AT LEAST .5lbs loss. Nope. I'm the same. I guess I'm going to have to look more at what I'm eating. I really don't think it's much different than before I started running, but it's killing me to not see any change. I don't want to just feel good, I want to LOOK good too.
I've really given the "no refined sugar" idea a thought, but then I realized all that I would be giving up and I'm not ready to take that step. How could I ever give up my Cheetos?
Here's one of my favorite quotes: Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't...you're right - Henry Ford
This week, I THINK I CAN!

Emily - you already look really good. Don't be so hard on yourself! Keep focused on the feeling good part.
I second Karen! You have always looked awesome. I know it's hard not to see changes on the scale but you know as well as I do that there are deffinatly changes going on in your body. Just keep up the good work. You are an inspiration!
Can I third all this. You look fantastic. Don't go to that really ugly overboard place. You're in great shape, exercising a ton, and eating well. Be happy with it. Learn to accept yourself and know that it's ok to say, "Wow, I've done great. I look great. Go me!!!!"
Emily,
it is not all about the scale. I is how you look and you look great! I bet your clothes are already feeling different. You are such an inspiration
You are doing great and you look great and you are one of the greatest people I know. Your Great! I know that's cheesy but it really is true!
You look wonderful. But I understand the frustration of hitting the plateau. Keep up the good work. You really do look great. (of course you always have!)
Emily- You already look fantastic! I am not sure where you plan on having this half come from... but I totally hear you! I feel the same way! I am running and running you would think there would be some pay off for it on the scale. I am sorry it makes you feel discouraged.
Keep it up - this was my week to say "I can too" thanks for the inspiration (and yes - you look great!)
