Saturday we took the kids ice skating. I again forgot my camera. Tyler was kind of bored because it was more of a girls day (we had some girlfriends with us) so Chris and I challenged him to race the speed skating ring. His first attempt he made it in 1:02 minutes. We then told him we'd give him a dollar to beat his time. He tried and fail. He fell hard coming around the last turn, on both knees.
I was ready to give him the dollar. Chris wanted him to try again.
Tyler was a good sport and tried. He made it! He did it in 57 seconds! Very impressive.
Of course Caely wanted in on the action, so we timed her. Her first attempt was 1:06:52 minutes, her second 1:04:33 and her third she did it! Her goal was to beat 1 minute and she hit that on the nose! I love that she's so competitive with her brother. (for now at least)
