This years Race for the Cure is being held on Saturday, May 9th. My dad passed away 27ishyears ago from lymphoma cancer and my Auntie Cee passed away from breast cancer 10 years ago this June. I'm sure we've all been affected by someone with cancer, I would love as many friends and family to join me this day in honor of those who have survived or lost their battle.
My friend Julie has put together a team, Breast Jordan Buddies. She is a breast cancer survivor and this is her teams third year running. Click on the link to join her team.
You can run or walk the 5K. It's held downtown and you can also push strollers, but I believe you start at the stroller line to protect your little ones. What can it hurt? It's for a great cause and you reap the benefits of good company and being out doors!

Jeremey and I are doing that, too! How fun!
I'm registered, too! So fun!
I'm working on taking that commitment step....why is it so scary for a non-runner to commit to running....deep breath....I can do this.
I have always wanted to do this. Maybe this is the year. Thanks for the tip!
