Mmm Good Meatloaf

My mom won a contest for her meatloaf at The Garden Restaurant inside the JSMB.

They served her meatloaf all day as the featured special, and invited her and her family to come have dinner there. She was also featured in the Deseret News. What a fancy pants! I am so glad she invited us. We are so VERY proud of her. I'm sure we didn't let her know enough.

Strangely, since I can have the dish any time, we all choose something different. My mom however did get the meatloaf and of course it was fabulous (we all had a taste). One of the waiters kept coming over and telling her how many people had ordered it and loved it.

We had such great service. It ended up The Garden put our tab on the house, and since we were planning to pay with a credit card, we didn't have any cash for a tip. My mom dumped her purse of money for a tip and my brother and sister (in-law) used their creative talents and made the server and extra special tip.

What you see here is a frog and a spider with a tower of change + a check. I know, crazy!
