Weekend Get-A-Way

Our friends, the LaMunyon's, invited us up to their cabin for the weekend. Tyler had a hockey camp, so we left him behind.

We left Friday evening, stopped at Rocky Mountain Pizza for dinner and met the LaMunyon's in Kamas.

By the time we got up there, it was bed time. At least for Chris and me. 

John took the kids on a Big Foot adventure while Karen and I chilled at the cabin and Chris fell asleep on the couch. As soon as the kids got back, we headed off to bed. 

The next morning we ate yummy breakfast and the kids practiced their head stands.

 We ventured outside where the kids played on the swings and we played forest Frisbee.

 Patch loved playing with Sophie. He was her little shadow. They spend a ton of time filling every page of Sophie's book coloring pictures for everyone.

 Chris and got to steal away for a run. It was one of the hardest runs I have done. The elevation was high, it was hot and I was just not feelin' it.

The kids got along great. We laughed a lot! Learned new games and just really enjoyed the company.

 We even got to see some wild life!
