Since we were in Moab for Mother's Day, there was no breakfast in bed. It was such a great weekend and my kids made every effort to love me all day long.
My mom hooked the kids up with a beautiful heart necklace to give me and when we got back from Moab, Patch surprised me with his homemade gift from school.
He painted a recipe card holder and with his school class they put together a recipe book.
When I first looked at it I panicked thinking he wouldn't be in there because I didn't see or send any special paper back to school with a recipe on there. Then I looked closer and saw this:

My mom gets a big pot. Then she puts it on the oven. She turns the oven on. She mixes a lot of stuff together, like vegetables. She cooks it for 10 minutes. Takes it off the oven and we eat it. We eat it with rolls.
It was a great Mother's Day!
