Memorial Day 2012

We love going to the cabin! There is something about listening to the water flow and the birds chirp in the cool mountain air that brings us joy. We also love being with the family. 

This was our last visit to the cabin with the cousins for a while. The Taylor cousins are moving to Kansas, we are going to miss them like crazy!

 It was such a beautiful day! We got up to the cabin a little early and spent some time on the porch in the sunshine. We played Phase 10 and visited while the kids played around, waiting for cousins to come. There's never a dull moment when the family shows!

They walked on stilts, played ball, tag, ate, ate, and ate some more. Johnny brought his ukulele up and sang to us. He taught the kids the riddle "you can be odd but you can't be even". They were torturer for hours. 

 Such a great memorial day at the cabin.
