A Gr8t Weekend

Alexa is turning 8 on Monday and we've told the girls when they turn 8 they can choose if they want their ears pierced. She did.

 Here dad was so sweet and held her hands.

 We told her it would hurt a little but I don't think there's anything that would explain better the shock you feel when they shoot earrings through your earlobes.

 Afterwards we had tickets from a Christmas present for Desert Star Playhouse. We went and saw "The Princess Bridesmaids"

 It was hilarious! The kids loved every minute of it. After the play they announce birthdays and anniversaries and such. We had told them it was Alexa's birthday and she loved hearing her name called.

 We went to the 8:30pm show, so by the time we got out our kids were spent!

Such a gr8t start to a special birthday weekend.
