Room Remodel

My girls are getting older and so is their style. I've always loved their room. I love purple and it seemed like such girlie room, perfect for my girls.
The flowers and butterflies are so feminine, but those all came down this week. Caely is ready for a teen room. We looked at hundreds of bed spreads trying to find one we could both agree on. Our tastes aren't the same and although I want her to make her own space, I want to like it too. She pick this fun, bright bedding that turned out cuter than I originally thought. From that she picked the green out of it and we went to the paint store. As we started painting, I started panicking. It was GREEN! Such a drastic, bold change. We painted the middle part with magnetic paint and chalkboard paint so she can doodle on it. My very dear friend, Karen came over to help me figure out what to do with the walls. She looked through dozens of magazines looking for what I might like She is such a sweetheart! We then headed out shopping and she found these cute shelves. Then she was nice enough to put them up for me because I'm a big chicken and would rather someone else mess up, just in case. It's coming along, Karen will me back next week to help me figure out this other space on her wall. Caely is LOVING it!
