bacteria. It was the longest 3 hours of my life!
When they brought him back to the room he was in an extreme amount of
pain. It was hard to watch him like that.
After he got pain medicine, he slept all night, only to be roused for
a few moments as they checked his vitals.
This morning he ate a TON, probably making up for the last 36 hours
without food. He took a long nap and has been on high spirits ever
since.
We're still not sure when we're headed home, but everything is looking
good so far so maybe in the next day or two we'll get discharged.

Oh Emily...What a terrible experience. I hope all is well and nothing permanant will exsist. Patch sounds like he is such a trooper. I can't imagine seeing one of my little ones go through such an ordeal. We will be praying for him and your family. Praying for a quick recovery and return home. Stay Strong.
I am so sorry, it is so hard to see your kids in pain and going through stuff like this! You and Patch are in my prayers, wish there was more I could do.
Watching your kids come out of anesthesia is very hard. I'm glad that's all over, and that you'll be coming home soon. I hope he recovers from the surgery and all quickly, and that you all can return to a normal life soon!
Love ya doll!
Oh my! I am so glad the surgery went well! What a little trooper! Hoping he continues to improve and you can go home!
Holy cow Emily I had no idea. What a trooper Patch is. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers!
