Alexa came running in to tell me Patch was hurt, so I slowly made my way out to find that he was actually really hurt.
It's hard to find out what really happened from an injured 5yr. old, I really couldn't understand a word he said. All I got from my Tyler was that he saw Patch riding his bike pretty fast around the circle and next thing he knew Patch was screaming.
He crashed into a tree.
All I can say is, thank goodness he was wear his helmet. This picture was taken an hour after his accident, and he's still bruising. He head was hurting so bad, more than the cuts on his face. I took him to the doctors where we just decided to watch him.

With spring coming, and me being the "helpful" friend, please please please remember to have your babies wear their helmets! And feel free to remind my babies if they aren't wearing one.

Poor Patch! We had a wreck last weekend that ended up cracking Jade's helmet and left a big bruise on her hip and thigh. I agree wear those helmets!

Oh my! Thank you for the reminder. I too often let sophie just ride a little on the sidewalk without hers. Never again...
