I haven't quite decided if I like being a basketball mom. The rules are so different and they blow the whistle a lot more than they do in hockey. 
Caely's absolutely loving it, and it shows!
She hurt her heel, I'm not sure if it's bruised or if there is a hurt ligament or something, but she's so die hard. Their first game, she played most the whole game, all while limping up and down the court.

Her second game her foot was still hurting and she ended up playing the whole game. The team was a hard one and the ball didn't seem to want to go in the basket, although they had plenty of shots. I guess that's how it goes sometimes. They lost, but are looking forward to playing again and redeeming themselves.

They all did great, I just hope they all realize how proud we are of them, win or lose.
Looks like Caely will be playing more basketball this spring and I'm kind of looking forward to it!

I think Caely plays on the same team as one of our friends, Jocelyn Maluia. Are you called Girls A? That we would be awesome if both our teams made it to the finals on Thurs.
We play tonight and if we win, we play the team we lost to on Fri. Kam is stoked because she missed that Fri night game and wants to replay that team. Fri night was the team's first loss of the season and she feels like she let her team down.
