Newest House Project

As fall arrives, so do the friends and neighbors coats and sweaters in a huge pile on my floor. The last two years I've been looking for the perfect coat rack with no luck.

I told my friend Shauna what I was looking for and she sent me this link to the Frugal Home Design website. It was perfect!

When I got home from St. George, the same afternoon a kids friend left their coat on my floor and I knew with the colder weather, what was about to start. I called Shauna and she put me (okay her) right to work.

We pulled off the baseboards in this small nook behind my front door.

We cut the wood and added the boards

A little paint and some hooks and....

VOILA!

My space was a little smaller than the frugal home design, but it worked! In the short time span of 4 hrs. from start to finish we were done.

Now to add a little decor and I'll be set.

*In the gross misuse of the word "we" I mean Shauna. She did a fabulous job! I did however shoot a few nails in the wall, paint and add the hooks, but I really couldn't have done it without her and my neighbor/friends awesome tools.

That is totally awesome! Where does Shauna get her ideas.. need to pick her creative yet applicable (couldn't find the real word I was looking for!) mind...

I love it! It turned out so good! Mathises want us to come do their house next. They asked how much we charge. :)

Looks awesome! Why don't houses come built for all the kids junk?
