A Day With The Witches

I think it's a must, when you live in SLC, UT, to visit the Gardner Village Witches.
My kids have been off track for three weeks, and I've really intended on taking them, but we've run out of time so we had to go today before they start school next week. Maybe I should mention that it's UEA weekend and that the entire Salt Lake Valley was at GV today!

This is the first year I didn't make my kids wear something halloweenish. Tyler's getting too old for the cute stuff, all he wants is the gore.
I did try for a cute picture of my kids that I could put at the top of my blog, do you think they could cooperate?
Nope!

Still, it was a nice afternoon, the weather was perfect and no one got lost.

When you post about experiences like these my first thought is "See... that's what I'm missing not living in Utah. But tonight was the first night that thought has changed. Now I think to myself "I need to find a place just like that in California!"

Em, you're my inspiration! :)

Well, I've never been to GV at Halloween. And all of Utah County was at Cornbellys!

We went finally! But.. we didn't get to see actual witches just the ones they had around. Mary-Tessa was quite disappointed but next year we'll have to go before 5, that's what time we went..
