Good Times

Krissy and I got up bright and early this morning to run the SOJO 1/2 marathon. We left the house around 6am, just to have the bus drive 1 mile past our house to the start of the race. It was such a beautiful morning, perfect for a run. Because it's SOJO's first year, there weren't a ton of runners, so that was really nice. It was an all down hill course, and all traffic was stopped for us, I felt like a star!

There was a 10yr. old girl running with her parents. She was amazing! and so inspiring!! She ran the whole way, it makes me want my kids to run a race with me know.

The course finished .3 miles longer than it should have been, so it was a total of 13.4 miles. It finished on this beautiful parkway in South Jordan, off the River Bottom. I finished in 1:55:58, my best time yet!

I think this is my new favorite race, one I will do annually. Hope all my running friends will join me next year!

Wow, 13.4 miles in just under 2 hours?? You ROCK! I know I tell you all the time, but you do! I think it would be fun for you to run with one of your kids.

It sounds like a great race. I'm totally in next year. We ran from Copperton that morning home (only 8 miles) and that was one of my best runs ever. Glad you guys had fun and seriously could I have hotter neighbors?
