Enjoying Two

Last night my two oldest slept over at their friends house, so Chris and I had the two youngest. Alexa was begging for a run, and of course Patch wanted in so we dragged Dad along too. We made it a whole quarter mile before the two were too pooped to continue. It didn't really matter how far we went, they loved it!

It was time to brush teeth and also time for new toothbrushes, that totally made their night. Why is it kids love new toothbrushes?

Chris and I were cleaning something this morning and took it out to the tramp to dry. Patch woke up and had to come help. He and his dad were jumping on the tramp to shake all the water out, it was so cute!

It's so much quieter and cleaner and calmer with two kids. No wonder we had four, after a while it would feel pretty boring, but for now I'll enjoy the peace.

Take it when you can. My aunt always said that she wished that she knew how easy 2 kids were when she had 2. :)

Seriously. Bryson has been at scout camp all week, and Meg went to Vegas with my sis for the week too... It's been very strange.

But I'm enjoying it while it lasts too :)

Charlie always wonders why the 2 youngest are always so good when it's just the 2 of them with us... I love the time. It gives us time to enjoy just them!
