A New Look

My mom gave me her china hutch about 7 years ago. I have lots of memories hiding things in this hutch, including food that I didn't want to eat (I know, gross).

It's just gotten out dated so I thought I'd give it a make over.

While I was giving it a light sand, I noticed my sister's name was carved into the side with a pin from years back. Ah, more funny memories!

I was lucky enough to have a little help from a friend who changed her furniture all the time, so I was reassured after we put the first coat of paint on and it looked really scary.

It actually wasn't too hard to do, but don't look too closely!

It looks great, and so fun that you were able to get it to work more with your style.

I love how you just dive right in to projects like that.
