Alexa is almost 1/2 way through kindergarten, and she started bringing home books to read about a month ago.It's kind of unreal that she's old enough to be reading. I know she's old enough, she's just the kid who stayed the smallest the longest.
Alexa's now caught up in growing, she's one of the tallest in her class.
She plays with friends, and is gone for hours.
She no longer has a toddler look to her.
I'm not sad. It's great that she's getting to be so "big". I think it just hit me today when I sat down to read a book with her that she thought was too hard, but it turned out to be easy.
I think it's great!

I was thinking the same thing about Alexa when we got your card. She is really growing up fast. You have such a beautiful family.
So happy sad huh! I looked at Chinny the other day and recognized the same thing....he's no longer my "little boy"....I love it and hate it. I wish that we could have "baby" moments where they could just be our squishy little babies again even if it was only for a moment. I agree with Karen! You have a gorgeous family!
