A few months ago, some friends of mine had a crazy idea that I should put together a neighborhood Turkey Trot for Thanksgiving. Apparently I'm a sucker and conned Shauna and Jill into helping me out.Shauna and I painted direction signs from donated election posters. Jill helped us out with a great prize for the winners.
We had a 5K/10K, and it turned out great!
Chris was so sweet, he took Shauna and me around to pound in the signs. He also got up early this morning to head the start of each race so I could run. He took pictures and handed out wristbands and awards. He's the best!
This is the 10K runners, sorry we missed out on getting the 5K runners picture.Looking forward to making this an annual event! Hope those who missed it or didn't know about it will join us next year!!

You're awesome. I'm going to try to make it next year. Hopefully I won't be going on 2 years of back pain... grrr...
