Ya'll Know It Snowed

Patch woke up Tuesday morning to a beautiful blanket of snow. He looked out the window and said, "It snowed! Does that mean it's my birthday?!".

A lot of his friends have birthdays later in the year, from October-December, so he is very anxious for his. He still talks about his CARS party and seems to think he'll be doing the same thing this year.

I don't know that he realizes he can do something else. His little mind doesn't let him waver from what he has already experienced.

A few weeks ago I asked Patch what he wanted to be for Halloween, he looked confused and told me he was being Woody which confused me because we haven't watched Toy Story for a very long time. I asked him why he picked that and he said, "because that's what I am for Halloween". Oh, makes sense. Then I realized that's what he was last year and why would I try to convince him otherwise when it saves me from buying a new costume?

This kid thinks up some crazy stuff.

Hi Emily! I am awarding you a blog award because you are someone who inspires me. (go to my blog to see details) I am so glad that we met, and I consider you a kindred spirit. I think you are a great mom and I try to learn from your example. I love you, thanks for being you!

When a boy knows what he wants - we should rejoice, right? right.

Have fun with that... can't wait to see what he decides!
