Not really,
since we had to drive all the way to Steiner, we figured we better make the most of our gas. Plus, we've been meaning to see the new baby elephant. She is adorable!It was just a quick trip on such a cold day.
The kids seemed to enjoy walking around with the other billion people who showed up for the weekend. Now I remember why I like to do my fun things with the kids during the week.
Our zoo is swimming with babies. There is a baby Siamese crocodile, baby Blackfoot kitten, baby tigers (3), baby snow leopard, baby giraffe, and the baby elephant. I'm sure there was more, but those were the ones we cared to see today.
I'm looking to going again when it's not so busy!

We SO need to get up there! I'm dying to see all the animals, and I love going when it's cooler.

O.K. that picture of the Baby Elephant makes me want to go to the Zoo today! Too cute!
I think this time of year is the best too 'cause all the animals are pretty active! We need to get up there to see all the babies too!
