It's Friday, 9:30pm and I'm all alone. No, no one is out of town. Tyler went to his Grandma and Grandpa's for a birthday sleepover, Caely and Alexa are at a friends sleeping over, and Chris and Patch are asleep!
I was helping/visiting a friend tonight, I left around 7:10pm and thought I would be quick but when I got home it was 9pm. Chris was asleep on the couch and Patch was on the chair. It was so cute, but that leaves me on a Friday night hanging out with myself.
I've survived Lexi's first week of Kindergarten and I look forward to many more days of her at school. Patch starts preschool next week, this should be interesting.
Today Caely and I had a short date, we headed to Mr. C's for some gelato. If you haven't tried them out, you really should. Their food is fantastic! Caely asks all the time if we can have a date and she ALWAYS picks Mr. C's.
Tyler is turning 10 on Monday. Can you even believe it?! Wow, time flies. I'm amazed that it's been 10 years since we were in Washington expecting our first child. Life has certainly changed since then, all for the best!

Wow. Patch will be doing preschool? That's crazy! What ever will you do with yourself on those days?

Don't you love it though? It's those spontaneous "alone" moments that we can appreciate some of the little miracles we are blessed with... which you have so nicely done! ;p
