Well, it's done. All the hard work payed off! I thankfully had lots of help. My first thanks is to Shauna for starting this crazy idea and doing all the carpentry work, then to Ryan C. for his awesome power tools. It was empowering to use the nail gun, I didn't dare try the saw. And last but not least to
Shalynn for giving me MANY hours of painting help.
I love having a new look to my room, but now I'm feeling the need to paint the furniture to give it some dark tones. I do miss my old color (I couldn't find some before pictures) since it was darker, but maybe a change in bedding will do the trick.

LOVE the look! The molding turned out great. I think new bedding would go a long way in making you feel more like it's "done". Plus, it's less labor intensive than painting your furniture...
Oh my gosh- it looks so great! I have always wanted to do that to my walls- I love seeing it on movies in the really cool houses!
