Fights & Goals

Last night my friend Jill took us to the Grizzlies Game.

we always get the royal treatment when we're with Jill. My kids were really looking forward to the game and to playing with her kids, but they were home sick (hopefully not from us). They had all kinds of mascots at the game, and they bring lots of trouble. Tyler, being the smarty he is, egged one on.
This is Foxy, I think, making his mark on Tyler.

and Foxy left feeling pretty proud.

We were then visited by the Bee and Wolverine. They kids loved it, even Patch gave a high five.



The game was crazy, at the drop of the puck a fight ensued. I don't think there were more than 2 hockey minutes that not one of the teams were in the penalty box. I've never seen anything like it. It was sadly humorous how many fights there were, if I had to guess it would be in the teens.

At one point, all the gloves came off...literally



it was chaos. It took about 10 minutes for the refs to figure out who got what penalty. One of the other teams players got kicked out of the game.

The fans taunted the Aces while they were in the penalty box. Even after the game the people in the parking lot were ridiculous. Women included. I had to turn my radio on so my kids wouldn't here people's immaturity shine through.

Jill spoiled us and we all had a blast. It really was a good game. Grizzlies won 5-2. The girls played in the suite, we had all kinds of treats, and Tyler and Patch watched most the game.
