Mt. Everest

Did you know Mt. Everest is 6 miles tall? It's the tallest mountain in the world!
Why am I telling you this? Because today I ran my Mt. Everest. We ran 6 miles this morning. It took us an hour and it was hard but the self satisfaction was SO worth it. I never knew I had it in me. Three months ago I was fighting for one mile. One month ago I was fighting for 3. I can't tell you how amazed I am at these awesome bodies we had and the endurance they can take. If you told me three months ago that I was going to be running 6 miles I would have laughed at you and said, 'NO WAY'. Today I think I could do anything!

So, of course your geeky brother wants to point out that Everest is actually only the "highest" mountain in the world. Technically, Hawaii is taller than Everest, but that's because it starts at the ocean floor.
Geekiness aside, congrats Sis!

Jim - it's a good thing you are my favorite brother or I'd have to drop kick you. You know I could...in my dreams!
