Guac Boy

Patch was helping me in the kitchen the other day. I am really learning to let my kids be more involved in the "big person" jobs around the house. I'm sure I missed many fun learning opportunities with Tyler, but it's never too late, right? I just remember my friend Julie T. sitting on my couch, trying to teach me to let Tyler clean the toilet and not be obsessive. She kept telling me it's good for him in so many ways and one day I would love that I'm not the only one to clean the toilets. She was right. Thank you Julie for your wise counsel and friendship!
It was so cute, all I said was to stomp the green stuff, and he went to town!
Next you know he'll be cooking me dinner!

It is sometimes "more work" to let little people help us but you are right.. the pay off is big in the long run! I will remember that next time one of them want to help with meals.
