Childhood, A Curious Thing

Beth and I had this great idea to go to Discovery Gateway last week and then...Patch got croup. Well, now he's all better and since the kids knew it was on the agenda sometime in our off track life, we went today.
I should tell you that Caely had a dentist appointment this morning to have part of her gums cut (gross) to make room for her teeth to grow. I'm telling you that so when you see pictures of her and her swollen lip, you don't think I'm beating her.

We met up with Beth, Jaqui and Tiffany and their beautiful kids. My kids were everywhere. I was constantly looking for at least one of them.
When we got there it was SO quiet. Then the school groups came in.

I think overall the kids had fun despite the balls getting taken away or being overrun by older kids.

It's amazing how they use their little imaginations and conjure up their own worlds.

Busy, busy, busy

Watch out for these two, they'll spray out your fire and write you a ticket all in the same breath.

this picture of Patch on his knees, he is pushing the blocks off the ledge with his head pretending he's a bulldozer.

These are amazing moms. Glad you came ladies!

I just had to jump in the picture and steel the shot. Notice how it's "Hello Emily and those behind her".

They also had a display for the "Walking with Dinosaurs" exhibit over at ESA. Patch would I'm sure love it or be scared to death. No worries, we are not attending, the tickets are too pricey for a three year old. It does look extremely cool though.

We did just get a pass there, so anyone who would like to go with us, just let me know!

I'm going to say it again, "You are the bomb" MOM. You would always get everyone together here and that was a lot of fun when I did come! That's a cool place, I'll have to look it up!

Looks like lots of fun in a couple of days! I always get to the end of off track and feel like such a failure. I never do "fun" stuff like that with my kids...

Call me observant, but I didn't even notice Caely's lip. Does it hurt her much?

Savanna had such a great time, and is totally rubbing it in to her sisters...not to be mean, she's just so excited. Hey, can I get some of the pictures?

So fun! I am glad you got some cute pictures. We'll have to do it again soon (without school groups hopefully).
